Best Body Lotions in Pakistan 2026 for Dry Winter Skin (With Prices)
Gas heaters, hot showers and cold, dry air leave skin tight, flaky and itchy every winter. Here's which body lotion to buy in Pakistan for your skin and budget, and why the "whitening" label matters less than you think.

Every winter in Pakistan, skin gets tight, flaky and itchy (khushk jild), especially on the legs, arms and hands. Gas heaters, hot showers and dry, cold air all pull water out of the skin. A good body lotion fixes most of this, and the best ones aren't expensive.
Here's which body lotion to buy in Pakistan, what each costs, and how to use it so it actually works.
What makes a good body lotion for winter?
Look for two kinds of ingredients:
- Humectants draw water into the skin: glycerin, hyaluronic acid, urea and lactic acid.
- Occlusives and emollients seal it in and soften: petroleum jelly, shea butter, cocoa butter, dimethicone, plant oils and ceramides.
The best winter lotions combine both. Glycerin plus petroleum jelly is one of the most effective and cheapest combinations there is.
What to avoid if your skin is itchy or sensitive: heavy fragrance and lotions with a lot of alcohol near the top of the ingredient list.
Do "whitening" body lotions work?
Many of Pakistan's best-selling lotions are labelled "whitening", "extra white" or "bright". Most of them are simply moisturising lotions, sometimes with niacinamide (vitamin B3) or vitamin C. Moisturised skin looks smoother and less ashy, and niacinamide can gently even out tone over a few months. That's all.
No lotion changes your natural skin colour. Be wary of unbranded or unregistered lotions and creams that promise to make you fairer in days: some sold in Pakistan have been found to contain mercury or steroids. Our guide to safe brightening creams and the ones to avoid explains what to look for.
The best body lotions in Pakistan, compared
Prices are the lowest prices we found on Daraz (including the Al-Fatah store) and Pakistani beauty retailers on 5 November 2026 and change often. Imported brands like CeraVe are widely faked; very cheap listings are a warning sign.

Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair: best value (about Rs 1,375 for 400ml)
Glycerin plus Vaseline's petroleum jelly in a light lotion that absorbs quickly. It's widely available from big retailers like Al-Fatah, and it's exactly what dry winter skin needs. The 100ml bottle (about Rs 430) is handy for a bag, but the 400ml bottle is far better value.
Biocos Shea Butter Body Lotion: best budget big bottle (about Rs 1,120 for 500ml)
Biocos is one of the most popular body lotion brands on Daraz. The Shea Butter version, with shea and cocoa butter, is a good choice for dry skin and big families, at a lower price per ml than most big brands. Its "Premium Whitening" lotion (about Rs 1,299) is the brand's best-seller, but for dry winter skin the shea butter version is the better buy.
Vaseline Healthy Bright: best light, brightening option (about Rs 800 for 200ml)
A lighter lotion with niacinamide (vitamin B3), which can help even out tone over time. It suits normal skin that doesn't get very dry, or for use in milder weather. The UV version contains some sun protection, but it isn't a substitute for sunblock on exposed skin.
Dove Essential Care: gentle and creamy (about Rs 1,950 for 400ml)
A soft, creamy lotion that feels comforting on dry skin that's easily irritated. A good choice if lighter lotions don't feel like enough.
Nivea Nourishing Body Milk: best for very dry skin (about Rs 2,295 for 400ml)
Nivea's richest everyday lotion, with almond oil, is thicker than Vaseline's and stays on the skin longer. It's the one to choose if your legs get flaky and ashy every winter. The Cocoa Butter version (same price) is similar.
Creme 21 Moisturizing Lotion: classic German option (about Rs 1,375 for 250ml)
A familiar lotion with vitamin E and panthenol that many people love for its texture and smell. It's good, but you get less lotion for your money than with Vaseline or Biocos. Watch out for look-alikes with similar names.
CeraVe Moisturising Lotion: best for itchy, eczema-prone skin (about Rs 5,200–7,000)
Ceramides and hyaluronic acid make CeraVe the best lotion here for skin with a damaged barrier: very itchy, cracked or eczema-prone skin. It's fragrance-free, which helps too. But it's expensive in Pakistan, and fakes are common. Genuine 236ml bottles sell for about Rs 5,200–7,000 at established beauty retailers, so listings at Rs 900–1,500 are almost certainly copies.
How to get the most from your body lotion
- Keep showers short and lukewarm. Hot water strips the skin's natural oils.
- Pat dry gently with a towel; don't rub.
- Apply lotion within three minutes, while your skin is still slightly damp.
- Use more on dry spots: shins, elbows, knees and hands. For very dry areas, put plain petroleum jelly over the lotion at night.
- Reapply before bed and after washing your hands.
- Use a mild, fragrance-free soap or body wash. Harsh soaps undo the lotion's work.
If you sit near a gas heater, a bowl of water nearby adds a little moisture to the air.
When dry skin needs a doctor
See a doctor if your skin is very itchy, red, cracked or bleeding, if itching keeps you awake, or if dry patches don't improve after two weeks of regular moisturising. These can be signs of eczema, a fungal infection or another skin condition that needs treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Which body lotion is best in Pakistan?
For most people, Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair (about Rs 1,375 for 400ml). For very dry skin, Nivea Nourishing Body Milk (about Rs 2,295). On a budget, Biocos Shea Butter (about Rs 1,120 for 500ml). For eczema-prone or very itchy skin, genuine CeraVe Moisturising Lotion.
Do whitening body lotions really whiten skin?
No. A body lotion can make skin look smoother and more even by moisturising it, and ingredients such as niacinamide can gently even out tone over months. It can't change your natural skin colour. Avoid unregistered lotions that promise fast whitening.
When should I apply body lotion?
Within three minutes of bathing, while your skin is still slightly damp. This traps water in the skin. Apply again before bed and whenever your skin feels tight.
Is body lotion or body cream better for winter?
Creams and balms are thicker and hold moisture better, so they suit very dry skin, elbows, knees and heels. Lotions are lighter and spread more easily, so they're better for daily, all-over use.
Can I use body lotion on my face?
It's better not to. Body lotions are often thicker and more fragranced, which can clog pores or irritate facial skin. Use a face moisturiser instead.
Sardiyon mein khushk jild ke liye konsa lotion best hai?
For dry skin in winter (sardiyon mein khushk jild), Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Repair or Nivea Nourishing Body Milk work well. Apply right after bathing, on slightly damp skin, and keep showers short and lukewarm.
